This year’s performance will take place in the spectacular St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown—a glorious acoustic and visual setting for what promises to be a deeply moving and festive evening. Kick off your holiday season with a joyful and majestic celebration featuring the Timberdale brass, Eric Plutz on organ, percussion, the Somerset Hills Chorus, and Stephen Sands, conductor, in a festive concert for all ages.
The centerpiece of the evening is Francis Poulenc’s radiant Gloria, performed with organ, brass, choir and Kristin Sands, soprano soloist. Join us for heartwarming sing-along carols and a showstopping finale arranged by Ryan Brandau. Sacred and Profane: Sheree Clement & Robert Sirota
Composers Robert Sirota and Sheree Clement present Sacred and Profane, a performance that invites audiences to explore the dual narratives of conflict and reconciliation. A unique blend of chamber music and opera, Sirota and Clement’s music grapples with the human condition through the lenses of comedy, drama, and lyricism. The evening will feature an all-star group of performers including soprano Ariadne Greif, baritone Paul Pinto, the Momenta Quartet, cellist Benjamin Larsen, pianist Hyungjin Choi, flutist Roberta Michel, violists Jonah Sirota and Nadia Sirota, and percussionist Katherine Fortunato.
